Fees for Qinematic software and services

As an authorised Health Provider, we make sure you have easy and secure access to client data. We use Microsoft Azure as a preferred partner for secure cloud storage and authentication. Our fee per scan model means that you only pay us for scans after your clients have paid you.

The Qinematic pricing model is designed so that the health facility gets paid by the client for providing the scanning service.

Qinematic also needs to get paid for offering the service and managing the data. We charge the health provider €19 per scan as well as a monthly license fee of €99 for the Qinematic Posture Scan + Qinematic Movement Lab software bundle that is installed on the scanning station. As an introductory offer, this fee (already) includes 5 scans per month. Additional licences for Qinematic Movement Lab are priced at €59 per month and licence.

Traditional manual measurement of posture, balance and movement normally takes 45-60 minutes, including documentation. We recommend that you charge at least €49 for the actual scan, even though it is automated. Add another €20-40 for personal advice.

Most health providers see a handful of new or prospective clients every day, and we think they should all be scanned for baseline measurement, and once again for follow-up reporting. In many countries, like Sweden, health professionals are required to demonstrate outcomes using measurement. We make the process fast, efficient and cost effective.

Providing some personal feedback about performance is the perfect opportunity for gyms to practice ‘solution selling’, book in a first consultation for new clients, and repeat consultations for regular clients. After all, if you are not assessing, you are just guessing.

The actual scan takes less than 6 minutes, however people may need to take off their shoes, and get oriented. 15 minutes is more than enough time for a relaxed scan.

What about the hardware?

Qinematic makes great software, that we love, but we are rather agnostic when it comes to hardware. There are many off-the-shelf hardware options available, and fortunately the availability just keeps improving. Regardless of where you are in the world, we want you to set up a Qinematic scanning station, so we intend to keep designing easy to use software that works with affordable and easy to find hardware.

Suggestion 1

The Provider who does not need to move around, and who has a dedicated space benefits from having the station at a fixed location, like a room, reception or the corner of an open area. This configuration is popular with gyms and small operations, as well as corporate event venues, where the same device is used for automated scanning and personal advice. Additional and multiple licenses/subscriptions for Qinematic Movement Lab and Qinematic Note can be purchased for remote connection to the scans from a stationary scan device.

Suggestion 2

Separating the scanning software and the movement lab software is popular in larger clinics and gyms, where the scans and the analysis can be performed simultaneously on 2 or more different devices. A client can be scanned in one room, whilst health professionals are analysing or giving personal advice in other rooms, or other cities for that matter. This opens up lots of possibilities for remote services and high volume scanning.

Suggestion 3

Many health providers work at several locations, or visit clients in their homes. Installing the software on a laptop PC and using a tripod to support the sensor, is a convenient way of taking the service to the customer. An internet connection is necessary for the authentication procedure and for uploading scans to our secure cloud storage. The scans can be stored temporarily on the laptop, however we discourage this for security reasons.
